This is my very first comic. It was a school project, and I was totally out of ides. I knew I wanted to have a dragon in the comic, of course. But a wanted a good story, with a deeper meaning. I couldn't think of anything good so I just stuck to the first story I made up. It's kind of a fairy tale I guess.
I'm no good at drawing people, but I did my best. The hardest part was the design of the child. How the heck do you draw a child? XD So, I watches Disney's The Treasure Planet and BANG. Jim Hawkins is totally cute as a small boy! I used him as reference for my character Edward.
All screen tone was applied by hand. I did most of the comic in our cottage up in the mountains, so I couldn't bring any scanner and a good comp I though it would be a disaster, but it turned out pretty ok.
I didn't have time to draw a first page, so soem excess screen tone will have to do it XD
Overall, my teacher seemed to like it som I'm happy xD
